27.08.2020 01:24: cancelled entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in Poland, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
Passengers arriving from Poland, Tajikistan or Uzbekistan are subject to taking a Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test if they arrive without a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 5 days before arrival.

Passengers arriving from Turkey must:
- have a medical certificate stating a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued at most 5 days before arrival; or
- be tested for Coronavirus (COVID-19) at most 48 hours after arrival.


22.06.2020 13:00: slacken entry restrictions.
Passengers are not allowed to transit or enter Kazakhstan.
This does not apply to passengers arriving from China (People's Rep.), Georgia, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Thailand or Turkey.

Passengers arriving from Turkey with a medical certificate stating a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result issued at most 5 days before arrival, are subject to quarantine for 14 days.
Passengers arriving from Turkey without a medical certificate are subject to a Coronavirus (COVID-19) test and quarantine.

18.06.2020 09:38: updated quarantine policy.
Passengers with a medical certificate stating a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 5 days before arrival must be in quarantine for 14 days. Passengers without this medical certificate are subject to a Coronavirus (COVID-19) test upon arrival and quarantine.


28.05.2020 16:48: imposed forced isolation.
Passengers with a medical certificate stating a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result issued at most 5 days before arrival must be in quarantine for 14 days. Passengers without this medical certificate must stay 2 days in a hospital to be tested for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and then in a quarantine for 12 days.
This does not apply to official state and diplomatic delegations, and international organization members with a special invitation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
