Extended entry restrictions: imposed total entry ban. Passengers are not allowed to enter Falkland Isl. (Malvinas) until 6 May 2020.
This does not apply to returning residents, passengers with Falkland Isl. (Malvinas) status, passengers with a residence or work permit.
This does not apply to passengers traveling on official business for the Falkland Isl.(Malvinas)'s Government. They must have evidence of proof of travel.
14.03.2020 03:14: extended entry restrictions and quarantine policy for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in China, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.) (Daegu or Cheongdo). Passengers who arrive from or have been in Wuhan City or Hubei Province of China (People's Rep.), Iran, Italy, Daegu or Cheongdo of Korea (Rep.), in the past 14 days, and are not a Falkland Islands resident, should not travel to the Falkland Islands. All such arrivals, including local residents, will be interviewed and medically examined on arrival. They will be required to self-isolate for 14 days.
18.03.2020 15:40: imposed quarantine policy. Passengers arriving from any country are subject to isolation for a period of 14 days if they develop symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19). They must contact the local hospital on 28000 for advice.
