Imposed ban entry for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), Albania, Armenia, Australia, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Dominica, Ecuador, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kosovo, Macao, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, Montenegro, New Zealand, North Macedonia, Panama, Serbia, Turkey. This does not apply to spouses or children of nationals of Japan if they can prove it.
This does not apply to passengers with a Special Permanent Residence Permit. However, they must have a Re-entry Permit from a regional immigration officer.

Passengers arriving from Bahrain, Brunei Darussalam, Congo (Dem. Rep.), Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Philippines, Qatar, Singapore, Thailand, USA or Viet Nam are requested to stay at the location designated by a quarantine station chief for 14 days and to not use public transportation in Japan.
Passengers arriving from Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom or Vatican City (Holy See) are requested to stay at the location designated by a quarantine station chief for 14 days and to not use public transportation in Japan.
