Travel restrictions update for Sri Lanka

  • Updated entry restrictions.
    Passengers are not allowed to enter Sri Lanka until 28 February 2021.
    - This does not apply to dual nationals of Sri Lanka.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a business or tourist visa.

    Passengers must have a printed medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 96 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The certificate must be in English.

    A completed "Health Declaration Form" must be presented upon arrival. The form can be obtained at https://www.caa.lk/en/special-notices-for-covid-19 or upon arrival at the Immigration counters.

    Passengers must have an insurance policy with a minimum medical coverage of the equivalent in USD of LKR 5,000,000.- ; and
    - must have a hotel reservation confirmation for 14 days; and
    - must have receipt for 2 PCR tests to be performed after arrival.
