Travel restrictions updates for Thailand

30.06.2020 14:20: imposed entry restrictions.
Passengers are not allowed to enter until 31 July 2020.
This does not apply to passengers who are spouses, parents, or children of a national of Thailand.
This does not apply to passengers traveling as students.
Passengers must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result.
Passengers must have an insurance to cover medical expenses in Thailand.


30.06.2020 14:20: cancelled flights restrictions for all international flights.
Flights to Thailand are suspended.


07.05.2020 18:32: updated quarantine policy.
Passengers will be subject to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival. Airline crew must observe self-quarantine during their stay until the next flight schedule.


27.04.2020 14:38: cancelled total entry ban.
Passengers are not allowed to enter and transit Thailand.


22.04.2020 17:12: updated flights restrictions for all international flights.
Flights to Thailand are suspended.
- This does not apply to state or military aircraft, emergency landing, technical landing without disembarkation, humanitarian aid, medical, relief and repatriation flights.

Flights to Thailand are suspended from 3 April 2020 17:00 UTC until 18 April 2020 17:00 UTC.

Passengers will be subject to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.

Flights to Thailand are suspended from 3 April 2020 17:00 UTC until 6 April 2020 17:00 UTC.
- This does not apply to state or military aircraft, emergency landing, technical landing without disembarkation, humanitarian medical or relief flights, repatriation flights and cargo flights.


26.03.2020 00:56: extended entry restrictions: imposed total entry ban.
Passengers are not allowed to enter and transit Thailand.
This does not apply to airline crew with pre-existing schedules.
This does not apply to diplomats and their family members.
This does not apply to passengers with a work permit.
This does not apply to passengers with a waiver from PM or PIC of State of Emergency.


21.03.2020 21:34: imposed entry restrictions.
All passengers other than nationals of Thailand must have:
- a Health Certificate and Lab Test COVID-19 to prove they are free from Coronavirus (COVID-19). The Health Certificate and Lab Test COVID-19 must be valid for not more than 72 hours prior to departure, and
- a medical insurance with coverage of 100,000 USD.


13.03.2020 14:50: updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in China, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Macao.
Passengers arriving from China (People's Rep.), Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.) or Macao (SAR China) must have a Health Certificate as well as Lab Test COVID-19 to prove they are free from Coronavirus (COVID-19). They must be under doctor's observation 14 days before issuing date. The Health Certificate and Lab Test COVID-19 must be valid for not more than 2 days prior to departure.
Passengers arriving from China (People's Rep.), Hong Kong (SAR China), Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.) or Macao (SAR China) must have a medical insurance with coverage of 100,000 USD.
This does not apply to airline crew.


13.03.2020 05:26: updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in China, Hong Kong, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Macao.
