30.03.2020 06:52: imposed flights restrictions: all international flights are suspended.
Effective 30 March 2020 (23:39 - Myanmar Standard Time), all international flights are not allowed to land in Myanmar until 13 April 2020 (23:59 - Myanmar Standard Time).
This does not apply to relief flights.
This does not apply to medical evacuation flights.
This does not apply to special flights approved by the Department of Civil Aviation.


30.03.2020 06:52: extended entry restrictions.
Passengers must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result.


25.03.2020 03:58: imposed forced isolation.
Passengers are subject to quarantine for 14 days.


24.03.2020 09:54: updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in Korea (Rep.) (areas other than Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions).
Passengers who have been in areas other than Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions of Korea (Rep.) are required to present a medical certificate that proves no symptoms of acute respiratory illness prior to boarding.


24.03.2020 09:54: updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in China (Hubei Province), Korea (Rep.) (Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions).
This does not apply to nationals of Myanmar.


22.03.2020 12:44: imposed entry restrictionsand forced isolation for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
All passengers who have been in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days are subject to quarantine for 14 days. They must present a Medical Certificate issued by a medical facility recognized by the health authorities. The medical certificates must show that they have no symptoms of acute respiratory illness (fever and cough or shortness of breath). This must be done before boarding the flight.

All passengers who have been in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA or the United Kingdom in the past 14 days are subject to quarantine for 14 days. They must present a Medical Certificate issued by a medical facility recognized by the health authorities. 17.03.2020 15:18: imposed entry restrictionsand home/self isolation for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in Korea (Rep.) (areas other than Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions).
Passengers who have been in areas other than Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions of Korea (Rep.) are required to present a medical certificate that proves no symptoms of acute respiratory illness prior to boarding. They are subject to 14-day quarantine at their home or hotel upon arrival in Myanmar.


17.03.2020 15:18: imposed ban entry for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in China (Hubei Province), Korea (Rep.) (Daegu and Gyeongbuk Regions).
This does not apply to nationals of Myanmar. They are subject to 14-day quarantine upon arrival in Myanmar.


15.03.2020 18:08: imposed forced isolation for passengers who arrive from or have been in France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Spain.
All passengers arriving from France, Germany, Iran, Italy or Spain are subject to quarantine in isolated hospital for 14 days.
