16.07.2021 12:22: updated entry restrictions. Passengers must have an approval from the Foreign Ministry of Sri Lanka by sending an email to: entry.permission@mfa.gov.lk . - This does not apply to dual nationals of Sri Lanka staying in a designated quarantine hotel. - This does not apply to passengers traveling as tourists. --- Passengers arriving via "Sri Lanka Tourism" must obtain an approval at https://www.srilanka.travel/helloagain/ . --- Passengers must have a printed negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks before departure, if the result of the COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival is negative.
