  • Entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in India
    Passengers arriving from India must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The test result must have a photo and a barcode.
    - This does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years.

  • Entry restrictions
    Passengers are not allowed to enter.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a tourist entry visa.
    - This does not apply to foreign nationals of Nepali origin whose passport states Nepal as place of birth.
    - This does not apply to relatives of nationals of Nepal.

    Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 test result taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The test result must have a photo and a QR code. Tests accepted are GeneXpert, NAAT and RT-PCR.
    - This does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years.
    - This does not apply to passengers arriving from India.

    A completed, printed "International Traveller Form" must be presented at check-in. The form can be obtained at https://ccmc.gov.np/ .

  • Special requirements for all international flights
    Flights to Nepal are suspended.
    - This does not apply to flights from China (People's Rep.), India, Qatar or Turkey.

  • Quarantine is possible
    Passengers must have a confirmed hotel reservation for 7 days. The hotel must be listed on https://ccmc.gov.np/arms/attachments/Quarantine_HotelsList.pdf .
    - This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated.
    - This does not apply to passengers younger than 5 years.
    - This does not apply to passengers older than 70 years.

    Passengers could be subject to quarantine for 7 days.
