  • Entry restrictions
    Passengers are not allowed to enter Latvia.
    - This does not apply to children, spouses and their children, parents and guardians of nationals of Latvia and of permanent residents of Latvia.
    - This does not apply to passengers arriving from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom or Vatican City (Holy See).
    - This does not apply to passengers older than 11 years with a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
    - This does not apply to passengers older than 11 years with a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
    - This does not apply to passengers older than 11 years with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days before arrival.
    - This does not apply to passengers older than 11 years with a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival.
    - This does not apply to passengers younger than 12 years if they are traveling with their guardians who have:
    -- a negative COVID-19 RNA test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
    -- a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
    -- a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days before arrival; or
    -- a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival.

    Passengers must complete a "COVIDpass" before departure at https://covidpass.lv/. This will generate a QR code which must be presented before departure and upon arrival.

    Passengers older than 11 years must have:
    - a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
    - a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken at most 24 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; or
    - a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 15 days before arrival; or
    - a COVID-19 recovery certificate issued at least 11 days and at most 180 days before arrival.

  • Quarantine is possible
    Passengers could be subject to self-isolation for 10 days. A list of self-isolation exemptions can be found at www.spkc.gov.lv/lv/if-returning-toentering-latvia
