Travel restrictions update for Hong Kong

  • Imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa.
    Passengers who have been in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines or South Africa in the past 14 days must have:
    - a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) nucleic acid test result issued at most 72 hours before departure. The certificate must be in Chinese or English, and have the name and identity card or passport number of the passenger; and
    - the original report for the nucleic acid test. The report must have the name and identity card or passport number of the passenger; and
    - a letter in Chinese or English issued by the relevant authority certifying that the test laboratory is recognized and approved by the government; and
    - a confirmed booking in Chinese or English of an accommodation in Hong Kong for 14 days or more.
