Travel restrictions update for Hong Kong

  • Imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or during last 21 days have been in Egypt.
    Passengers who have been in or transited through Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Russian Fed., Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates or USA in the past 21 days must have:
    - a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Hong Kong (SAR China). The name in the test result must match the name on the travel document, or a written confirmation issued by the laboratory with the name of the passenger must be presented; and
    - a document proving that the laboratory is approved by the local government; and
    - a hotel reservation confirmation for a minimum of 21 nights.
    All documents must be in Chinese or English.
