Travel restrictions update for New Zealand

  • Imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in United Kingdom, United States.
    Effective 16 January 2021, passengers entering or transiting through New Zealand from United Kingdom or USA must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) RT-PCR test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
    - This does not apply to passengers younger than 2 years.
    - This does not apply to passengers who have transited through United Kingdom or USA for less than 96 hours.
    - This does not apply to passengers who are members of the New Zealand Defence Force.
