Travel restrictions update for Singapore

  • Updated entry restrictions.
    Passengers are not allowed to enter.
    - This does not apply to passengers (except those with travel history to the United Kingdom within the past 14 days prior to departure for Singapore) with a Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) or a Long-Term Visit Pass In-Principle Approval (LTVP IPA). They must have an Approval Letter for Entry (ALE) issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
    - This does not apply to passengers (except those with travel history to the United Kingdom within the past 14 days prior to departure for Singapore) with a Work Pass, Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP), Dependant’s Pass, or the respective In-Principle Approval (IPA) issued by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). They must have an approval letter from the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) or the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
    - This does not apply to passengers (except those with travel history to the United Kingdom within the past 14 days prior to departure for Singapore) with a Student's Pass (STP) or a Student's Pass In-Principle Approval (STP IPA). They must have an Approval Letter for Entry (ALE) issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE) or the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
    - This does not apply to passengers (except those with travel history to the United Kingdom within the past 14 days prior to departure for Singapore) with an approval letter from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Ministry of Education (MOE), Ministry of Health (MOH), or Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI).
    - This does not apply to passengers with an Air Travel Pass approval letter issued by Singapore if they:
    -- have stayed in Australia (excluding New South Wales), Brunei Darussalam, China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei, New Zealand or Viet Nam in the last 14 days before departure; and
    -- have a visa to enter Singapore (if they are a visa-required short-term visitor); and
    -- have a mobile device with the TraceTogether app downloaded, unless they are aged 12 years old or younger in that calendar year and travelling with a parent or guardian, or those who are unable to use a mobile device due to a certified disability and/or special need.
    - This does not apply to residents of China (People’s Rep.) if they:
    -- have a valid Safe Travel Pass approval letter issued by Singapore under the Singapore-China Fast Lane; and
    -- have a visa to enter Singapore (if they are a visa-required short-term visitor); and
    -- have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result, taken within 72 hours before departure; and
    -- stayed in Chongqing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Tianjin, or Zhejiang in the last 7 days before departure; and
    -- have a return ticket or proof of other transportation arrangements to depart from Singapore.
    - This does not apply to returning passengers with a Work Pass, Student's Pass, Dependant’s Pass, or Long-Term Visit Pass who have a Entry Travel Pass issued by the Brunei authorities under the Singapore-Brunei Reciprocal Green Lane, an invitation letter issued by the Chinese authorities under the Singapore-China Fast Lane, a Singapore-Germany-Singapore (SGS) Travel Pass issued by the Singaporean-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce under the Singapore-Germany Reciprocal Green Lane, an electronic visa issued by the Indonesian authorities, an approval letter issued by the Embassy of Japan under the Singapore-Japan Reciprocal Green Lane, an approval letter issued by the Korea (Rep.) Embassy in Singapore under the Singapore-ROK Fast Lane, or a MyTravelPass approval letter issued by the Malaysian authorities under the Singapore-Malaysia Reciprocal Green Lane. They do not require an approval letter from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), Ministry of Manpower (MOM), or Ministry of Education (MOE).

    Passengers entering Singapore must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result, taken within 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point. The certificate must be in English, and must include the date the test was taken, and a minimum of 2 personal identifiers as stated in the passport (i.e. name and either date of birth or passport number).
    - This does not apply to passengers who are 6 years or younger.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a Pre-approved Business Pass.
    - This does not apply to passengers who have only been to low risk countries/regions in the past 14 days before entry into Singapore. Please refer to https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/health/before-arriving for the low-risk countries/regions.
    - This does not apply to passengers who have only been to low risk countries/regions, who transited in non-low risk countries/regions.
