  • Updated entry restrictions.
    Passengers are not allowed to enter until 31 December 2020.
    - This does not apply to family members of nationals and residents of Portugal.
    - This does not apply to family members of nationals of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland, if arriving from a country other than the United Kingdom.
    - This does not apply to family members of British nationals if arriving from a country other than the United Kingdom.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a long term visa issued by Portugal if arriving from a country other than the United Kingdom.
    - This does not apply to passengers arriving from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR China), Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (SAR China), Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand or Uruguay.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a long term visa issued by Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden or United Kingdom, returning via Portugal to their country of residence and if arriving from a country other than the United Kingdom.

    Passengers must have a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result taken at most 72 hours before departure.
    - This does not apply to passengers arriving from Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China (People's Rep.), Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR China), Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep.), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macao (SAR China), Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Rwanda, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom or Uruguay.
    - This does not apply to passengers arriving in Azores or Madeira.

    Passengers arriving in Madeira:
    - without a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result taken at most 72 hours before departure are subject to Coronavirus (COVID-19) test and quarantine; and
    - must complete an epidemiological survey before departure at https://madeirasafe.com . This will generate a QR code which must be presented upon arrival.

    Passengers arriving in Azores without a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) PCR test result taken at most 72 hours before departure are subject to Coronavirus (COVID-19) test and quarantine.
