Travel restrictions update for Hong Kong

  • Updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in United Kingdom.
    Passengers are not allowed to enter if they have stayed in the United Kingdom for more than 2 hours in the past 14 days.

    Passengers who have been in Bangladesh, Belgium, Ecuador, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Russian Fed., South Africa, Turkey, USA, Ukraine or United Kingdom in the past 14 days must have:
    - a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) nucleic acid test result. The test must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Hong Kong (SAR China). The name in the certificate must match the name on the travel document, or a written confirmation issued by the laboratory with the name of the passenger must be presented; and
    - a letter issued by the local authorities certifying the laboratory as approved by the government; and
    - a hotel reservation confirmation for a minimum of 14 nights.
    All documents must be in Chinese or English.
