Updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in United States. Passengers arriving from the USA are not allowed to enter until 21 December 2020.
- This does not apply to passengers who are asymptomatic for Coronavirus (COVID-19) and travel for a non-optional or non-discretionary purpose. They must comply with the requirement to quarantine based on their purpose of travel and intended length of stay if required.
- This does not apply to immediate family members of a national of Canada or a permanent resident of Canada who are asymptomatic for Coronavirus (COVID-19). They must prove that the purpose of their travel is to be with their immediate family member who is a national of Canada or permanent resident of Canada and that they intend to stay for at least 15 days.
- This does not apply to extended family members of a national of Canada or a permanent resident of Canada who are asymptomatic for Coronavirus (COVID-19). They must:
-- prove that they intend to be with their extended family member who is a national of Canada or permanent resident of Canada and that they intend to stay at least 15 days; and
-- have a statutory declaration signed by the Canadian national or permanent resident attesting to the relationship; and
-- have a letter issued by IRCC.
