Travel restrictions update for Norway

  • Updated entry restrictions.
    Passengers are not allowed to enter until 15 January 2021.
    - This does not apply to spouses, partners, parents, children of residents of Norway. They must present proof confirming the relationship.
    - This does not apply to boyfriends or girlfriends of residents of Norway. A "Solemn declaration on relationship for use in connection with entry" signed by the person residing in Norway must be presented to the immigration upon arrival. The form can be obtained at https://www.udi.no/globalassets/global/aktuelt/korona/solemn-declaration-on-relationship.pdf.
    - This does not apply to family members of nationals of Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City (Holy See) returning via Norway to their country of residence.
    - This does not apply to family members of British nationals returning via Norway to their country of residence.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a visa issued by Norway after 15 March 2020.
    - This does not apply to passengers with a "D" visa issued by Norway.
    - This does not apply to passengers traveling to study in Norway. They must have received a decision letter stating that they have been granted a residence permit as a student in Norway.

    Passengers could be subject to presenting a printed medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) test result. The test must have been taken 72 hours before arrival. Accepted tests are: Antigen tests, PCR tests and RT-PCR tests. The medical certificate must be issued in Danish, English, French, German, Norwegian or Swedish.
