Travel restrictions update for Hong Kong

  • Imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in Russia, France.
    Passengers who have been in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, France, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Russian Fed., South Africa, USA or United Kingdom in the past 14 days must have:
    - a medical certificate with a negative Coronavirus (COVID-19) nucleic acid test result. The sample must have been taken at most 72 hours before departure of the last direct flight to Hong Kong (SAR China). The certificate must be in Chinese or English, and have the name of the passenger identical to that on the travel document. If the certificate does not meet all the mentioned requirements, a written confirmation in English or Chinese issued by the laboratory or healthcare institution with the name of the passenger must be presented together with the certificate; and
    - a letter in Chinese or English issued by the relevant authority certifying that the test laboratory is recognized and approved by the government; and
    - a confirmed booking in Chinese or English of an accommodation in Hong Kong for 14 days or more.
