Travel restrictions updates for Uganda

03.07.2021 00:08: updated entry restrictions.
Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.
- This does not apply to passengers younger than 3 years.


16.06.2021 10:40: updated entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.
Passengers arriving from Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Turkey, USA, United Arab Emirates or United Kingdom are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival.
- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated and are asymptomatic.


20.05.2021 08:16: imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in Belgium.
Passengers connecting to flights SN465, SN467 or SN473 from Brussels to Entebbe (Uganda) are subject to a technical stop in Kigali (Rwanda). Even if passengers do not disembark in Rwanda, they must comply with the entry requirements imposed by Rwanda to:
- have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point; and
- complete the Rwandan Passenger Locator Form and Rwandan Health Declaration Form before departure at https://travel.rbc.gov.rw/


10.05.2021 13:14: imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.
Passengers arriving from Ethiopia, Kenya, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Turkey, USA, United Arab Emirates or United Kingdom are subject to a PCR test upon arrival.
- This does not apply to passengers with a COVID-19 vaccination certificate stating that they received the last vaccine dose and are asymptomatic.

20.03.2020 09:48: cancelled quarantine policy for passengers who arrive from or have been in China, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain.
Passengers who reside in China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.) or Spain will be quarantined for 14 days.


20.03.2020 09:48: cancelled quarantine policy for passengers who arrive from or have been in Austria, Belgium, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States.
Passengers who reside in Austria, Belgium, China (People's Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, San Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, USA or United Kingdom will be quarantined for 14 days.
