Travel restrictions updates for Macao

02.06.2021 17:54: imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or have been in Taiwan (Chinese Taipei).
Passengers arriving from Chinese Taipei must have a negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test result issued at most 72 hours before arrival.

27.07.2020 23:20: cancelled quarantine policy for passengers who arrive from or have been in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei).
Residents from China (People's Rep.) who have not been outside China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (SAR China) or Macao (SAR China) 14 days prior to arrival will need to go through a six to eight hour medical examination if they come from Guangdong, Henan, Hunan, Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Chongqing, Beijing or Shanghai. If they have visited Hong Kong (SAR China) or Chinese Taipei 14 days prior to arrival, they will need to go to designated places for a 14-day medical observation.

Visitors who reside or have been in the Hubei Province (Chine People's Rep.) in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter Macao (SAR China) unless they prove with a valid certificate that they are not infected with the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Passengers are not allowed to enter Macao (SAR China).
This does not apply to residents of China (People's Rep.) if they have not been outside China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong (SAR China) or Macao (SAR China) 14 days prior to arrival.
This does not apply to passengers with a non-resident worker’s identification card and with resident status in China (People's Rep.), Chinese Taipei or Hong Kong (SAR China).
All passengers must obtain a Coronavirus (COVID-19) nucleic acid test report issued by a local medical institution within 7 days confirming that they have been tested negative for Coronavirus (COVID-19) before they can board their flight.


[before 12th March 2020]: imposed forced isolation for passengers who arrive from or have been in Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.).
Passengers who have been in Iran, Italy or Korea (Rep.) will be subject to quarantine for 14 days.


[before 12th March 2020]: imposed entry restrictions for passengers who arrive from or during last 14 days have been in China (Hubei Province).
