This does not apply when arriving from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia or Spain.


05.06.2020 20:50: updated entry restrictions.
Passengers are not allowed to enter.
This does not apply to family members of nationals of Bulgaria.
This does not apply to the following passengers:
- health care professionals, health researchers and elderly care professionals;
- transport personnel engaged in the carriage of goods, crews of aircraft engaged in commercial air transport and other transport personnel as necessary;
- diplomats, officials of international organizations, military personnel and humanitarian workers in the performance of their duties;
- persons traveling for humanitarian reasons.

- transport personnel engaged in the carriage of goods, crews of aircraft engaged in commercial air transport and other transport personnel as necessary;
- diplomats, officials of international organizations, military personnel and humanitarian workers in the performance of their duties;
- persons traveling for humanitarian reasons; third-country nationals who hold a long-term residence permit in an EU Member State and pass through Bulgaria in order to return to their country of residence and residence.


28.05.2020 14:06: imposed entry restrictions.
Passengers arriving from outside Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia or Sweden are not allowed to enter Bulgaria.
This does not apply to family members of nationals of Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.
This does not apply to the following passengers:

Passengers not arriving from Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia or Sweden are not allowed to enter Bulgaria.


15.04.2020 16:18: updated entry restrictions.
Passengers not arriving from Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia or Sweden are not allowed to enter Bulgaria.
This does not apply to family members of nationals of Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden.

- transport personnel engaged in the carriage of goods, crews of aircraft engaged in commercial air transport and other transport personnel as necessary;
- diplomats, officials of international organizations, military personnel and humanitarian workers in the performance of their duties;

18.03.2020 14:22: imposed ban entry for passengers who arrive from or have been in Bangladesh, China, France, Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Maldives, Nepal, Netherlands, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
This does not apply to family members of nationals of Bulgaria.
This does not apply to passengers and their families with a permanent or long term residence permit issued by Bulgaria.
